  1. Run During Daylight Hours: Whenever possible, opt for well-lit routes during daylight hours. This increases visibility for both yourself and others, potentially deterring unwanted attention.
  2. Choose Familiar, Populated Routes: Stick to well-maintained paths in areas you know or are familiar with. Prioritize running in parks, public sidewalks, or tracks with high foot traffic. Avoid isolated areas, deserted trails, and poorly lit streets.
  3. Inform Someone of Your Plans: Let a friend, family member, or roommate know your running route and estimated duration. Consider using a live location sharing app with their permission, but be mindful of privacy concerns.
